Synopsis: Park preserves 800,000 acres of desert and its special ecosystems. Stamp Location: The park has two visitor centers: Oasis VC on SR 62 in Twentynine Palms, and the Cottonwood VC on SR 195 near Chiriaco Summit on the southern end of the park. The stamp is also available at the Black Rock Canyon ranger station, just south of SR 62 and Yucca Valley. The stamp can also be obtained at the Indian Cove and Blackrock ranger stations. |

Synopsis: Trail commemorates the route followed by Anza in 1775-76 when he led a contingent of 30 soldiers and their families from near Nogales, AZ to found a presidio and mission on the San Francisco Bay. Stamp Location: Stamp is available in California at the Santa Monica Mountains NRA VC, the Presidio VC and Fort Point NHS of the Golden Gate NRA, John Muir NHS, Channel Islands NP VCs and Anza Borrego State Park. It may also be obtained at the trails headquarters located at 1111 Jackson Street #700 in Oakland.See also Arizona for additional stamp locations. |

Synopsis: Massive Canyon and wilderness area are the center peices of this park. Very mountainous road leads into the park and the canyon. Managed as one park with Sequoia NP (see separate listing). Stamp Location: Stamp may be obtained at either the Grant Grove VC or the Cedar Grove ranger station, both along SR 180 west of Fresno. |

Synopsis: Geological park contains all four types of volcanoes in the world. Very scenic. Stamp Location: The parks information center is located at Southwest, near Lassen Chalet on SR 89. Ranger stations are also located at Summit Lake North and next to the Loomis Museum on Manzanita Lake by the northwest entrance. Stamps are known to be at the parks entrances and at the headquarters 8 miles south of the park in Mineral and at the Loomis Museum. |

Synopsis: Park preserves volcanically created landscape of cinder cones, lava flows, spatter cones, lava tube caves and pit craters. Stamp Location: The park visitor center is located in the southern end of the park on the park road which runs from SR 139 south of Tulelake. |

Synopsis: Park preserves 1.6 million acres of mountains, jumble rocks, desert washes, and dry lakes. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the opportunity for solitude here not easily found at other southern California parks. Stamp Location: Stamp may be obtained at the Baker Desert Information Center at 72157 Baker Blvd (just off SR 127) in Baker, the Hole-in-the-Wall Ranger Station on Black Canyon Rd (well within the park and only open weekends as staffing allows and then only 10-14:00) and at the park headquarters at 222 E Main St, Suite 202 in Barstow. |
