Port Chicago Naval Magazine NM
Park brochure not obtained yet Synopsis: Site honors the courage and commitment of the 320 Sailors, Marines, Coast Guardsmen, Merchant Mariners, and workers killed and injured there during World War II.
Stamp Location: Available by appointment only at the site. Call 925.838.0249 to make one to visit the memorial on the Conord Naval Weapons Station. Stamp is kept and is available at the Eugene O'Neil NHS.

Redwood NP & SP

Synopsis: Park, along with several state parks, protects 45% of the states old growth redwood forests.
Stamp Location: Stamp locations include the Redwood Information Center off US 101 west of Orick, the park headquarters and information center at 2nd and K Sts in Crescent City and the Hiouchi Information Center along US 199 in Hiouchi.

Stamp Location: Stamp is available at Richmond City Hall, 1401 Marina Way South.

Synopsis: Park protects historic ships and offers museums and hands on participation.
Stamp Location: The stamp is available at the parks visitor center located at 499 Jefferson St, the Maritime Museum at the intersection of Polk and Beach Sts, next to Ghirardelli Square, two locations on Hyde Street Pier (the store & kiosk) & Fort Mason (see Golden Gate NRA for more information).

Santa Monica Mountains NRA

Synopsis: Park works to preserve ecological and historical resources of mountain range the rises above Los Angeles. Protects ocean fron areas as well as mountains in a mix of local, state, and federal partnerships.
Stamp Location: Park headquarters and visitor center is located at 401 W Hillcrest Dr in Thousand Oaks. From Ventura Freeway (US 101) to Lynn Rd turn north on Lynn road turn east (right) on Hillcrest Drive left onto McCloud Ave. First driveway on the right.

Sequoia NP

Synopsis: Park protects groves of giant trees and alpine areas including Mt Whitney at 14,494' the highest point in the state. Managed as one park with Kings Canyon NP (see separate listing).
Stamp Location: Stamp may be obtained at the Foot Hills VC and park headquarters on SR 198, three miles from Three Rivers and just inside the park, the Lodgepole VC at Giant Forest in the middle of the park and at the Mineral King Ranger Station.

Whiskeytown NRA

Synopsis: Recreation area with mountainous terrain and large lake as its center piece. Park is one of the Whiskeytown-Shasta-Trinity NRA, but only Whiskeytown is administered by the NPS.
Stamp Location: The parks visitor center is located right off SR 299 just west of Shasta on Whiskytown Lake.

Yosemite NP

Synopsis: Park preserves spectacular mountain scenery including Yosemite Valley, water falls (some among the highest in the world) and Tuolumne Meadows, an awesome sub-alpine meadow surrounded by mountain peaks.
Stamp Location: Stamp may be obtained at the Wawona Information Station (summer only) just past the south entrance on SR 41, the Valley VC located in Yosemite Village, the Information Station along SR 120 and at the Tuolumne Meadows VC along SR 120 in Tuolumne Meadows.
