Greenbelt Park

Synopsis: Urban park in the northern Washington, DC suburbs.
Stamp Location: The stamp is available in two places in the park, at the park headquarters (just past the park police building on the left), and at the campground ranger station (just follow the Central Park Rd until you come to the campground, and look for the ranger station). The latter is staffed later in the day, and someone should let you use the stamp, even if its late. The park entrance is one mile from the Baltimore/Washington Pkwy (which both Greenbelt locations have the stamp for) on SR 193 in Greenbelt.

Synopsis: Site preserves the largest house in the US in the 1790s and the story of the seven generations who lived there.
Stamp Location: Stamp is kept inside the doorway to the right as you enter the estate (its in the window well). The estate is Hampton Lane off I-695 in Towson.

Lyndon Baines Johnson Memorial Grove on the Potomac
Park brochure not obtained yet Synopsis: Grove of trees and memorial to the former president on island in the Potomac.
Stamp Location: Stamp is available at the George Washingtom Memorial Parkway Headquarters and at the Atlington Cemetary visitor center. See seprate listings for directions.

Monocacy NB
Park brochure for Monocacy NB Synopsis: Historic park preserves the site of one of the most important battles over Washington during the Civil War.
Stamp Location: Stamp is located in the visitor center of the battlefield which can be hard to find. Signage is next to non-existent, but from I-70, take Exit 54 (Market Street), then turn south on SR 355. The Gambrill Mill Visitor Center is located one-tenth of a mile south of the Monocacy River bridge in Frederick.

Oxon Cove Park
Park brochure for Oxon Hill Farm Park Synopsis: Oxon Hill Farm is the main feature here and operates as an actual working farm, representative of the early 20th century.
Stamp Location: The stamp is available in the visitor barn. To get here, take exit 3-A off the Beltway onto SR 210 and bear right onto Oxon Hill Rd and follow signs. In Oxon Hill.

Synopsis: Trail follows historic sites and a range of recreational and educational opportunities.
Stamp Location: Stamp is available in Maryland at the Cumberland VC, the Great Falls Tavern VC, the Hancock VC and the Williamsport VC all of the C & O Canal (see separate listing for directions). See also D.C., Virginia and Pennsylvania for an additional stamp locations.

Park brochure not obtained yet Synopsis: Site preserves rebuilt home of one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. Home was destryoed by fire and rebuilt and furnished with period furnishings.
Stamp Location: Stamp is available at the information desk inside the home, a 1/2 mile walk from the parking area off SR 6 & 225 near Port Tobacco.
